Mai 2019 wurde dem Wemender Ensemble die \u00e4lteste kulturelle Auszeichnung der Ungarndeutschen, der Lenau-Preis, verliehen. Es werden damit in- und ausl\u00e4ndische Personen bzw. Wemend wird in ungarndeutschen Kreisen als Synonym f\u00fcr Originalit\u00e4t, Qualit\u00e4t und deutscher Identit\u00e4t verwendet. Ihre Aussagen hat sie mit Archivaufnahmen untermauert.\u00a0Den Preis \u00fcberreichten Vorsitzender Lorenz Kerner und Vorstandsmitglied Dr. Eva Gerner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
