szerint val\u00f3j\u00e1ban okt\u00f3ber 19-\u00e9n sz\u00fcletett, csak k\u00e9t nappal k\u00e9s\u0151bb anyak\u00f6nyvezt\u00e9k, ez\u00e9rt m\u00e1s a sz\u00fclet\u00e9si napja). Felmen\u0151i Nassau-Saarbr\u00fcckenb\u0151l, Lodenbach-b\u00f3l ker\u00fcltek Magyarorsz\u00e1gra. Iskol\u00e1it Dunak\u00f6ml\u0151d\u00f6n \u00e9s Pakson v\u00e9gezte, k\u00f6z\u00e9piskol\u00e1ba a p\u00e9csi ciszterciekhez j\u00e1rt (Nagy Lajos Gimn\u00e1zium). 1918. augusztus 14-\u00e9n \u00f6lt\u00f6ztett\u00e9k be Zircen a nov\u00edciusi ruh\u00e1ba. Ekkor kapta a Roger szerzetesi nevet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zentrum.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/42_large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Schilling Roger (Fot\u00f3: ocist.hu)\" alt=\"42_large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zentrum.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/42_large.jpg\" width=\"362\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1919-21 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt az egri gimn\u00e1ziumban fejezte be k\u00f6z\u00e9piskolai tanulm\u00e1nyait, \u00e9s itt tett \u00e9retts\u00e9gi vizsg\u00e1t is. 1925. j\u00fanius 24-\u00e9n \u00f6r\u00f6kfogadalmat tett, j\u00falius 5-\u00e9n papp\u00e1 szentelt\u00e9k. Eddigre egyetemi \u00e9s hittudom\u00e1nyi tanulm\u00e1nyait is befejezte, \u00e9s latin-n\u00e9met szakos tan\u00e1ri oklevelet is szerzett.<\/p>\n<p>Az 1925\/26-os tan\u00e9vben Egerben tan\u00edtott, ut\u00e1na Bud\u00e1ra ker\u00fclt, az ottani gimn\u00e1ziumba. Bud\u00e1n eleinte csak n\u00e9met nyelvet tan\u00edtott, oszt\u00e1lyf\u0151n\u00f6ki kinevez\u00e9st m\u00e9g nem kapott. Tev\u00e9kenyen r\u00e9szt vett a cserk\u00e9szetben is. K\u00f6zben tudom\u00e1nyos tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9get is folytatott: els\u0151sorban a magyarorsz\u00e1gi n\u00e9met betelep\u00edt\u00e9sek t\u00f6rt\u00e9net\u00e9vel, kiemelten sz\u00fcl\u0151faluja t\u00f6rt\u00e9net\u00e9vel foglalkozik\u00a0<em>\/Roger Schilling: Ansiedlung der Deutschen in Rumpfungarn. Id\u0151k\u00f6zben a rendi obl\u00e1tusok el\u00f6lj\u00e1r\u00f3ja is lett.<\/p>\n<p>1942-t\u0151l \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos tan\u00fcgyi fel\u00fcgyel\u0151 volt. 1941-ben a Szegedi Egyetem megh\u00edvta nyilv\u00e1nos rendes egyetemi tan\u00e1rnak, de \u0151 visszautas\u00edtotta, mert m\u00e9g a budai gimn\u00e1ziumban \u00e9retts\u00e9giig szerette volna k\u00eds\u00e9rni az oszt\u00e1ly\u00e1t. Ekkor a budapesti P\u00e1zm\u00e1ny P\u00e9ter Egyetemen lett mag\u00e1ntan\u00e1r. Szakter\u00fclete: a n\u00e9met telep\u00edt\u00e9sek \u00e9s n\u00e9met nyelvj\u00e1r\u00e1sok.<\/p>\n<p>1948-ban \u00e1llamos\u00edtott\u00e1k az egyh\u00e1zi iskol\u00e1kat, Schilling Roger is k\u00e9nytelen volt elhagyni a budai gimn\u00e1ziumot. Ekkor az Ul\u00e1szl\u00f3 utcai Szentl\u00e9lek k\u00e1polna lelk\u00e9sze lett.<\/p>\n<p>1951-ben papi m\u0171k\u00f6d\u00e9si lehet\u0151s\u00e9geit is megvont\u00e1k, \u00edgy k\u00e9nytelen volt ismer\u0151s\u00f6kn\u00e9l megsz\u00e1llni. Ha nyilv\u00e1nosan nem is lehetett lelkip\u00e1sztor, lak\u00e1s\u00e1n sok r\u00e9gi tan\u00edtv\u00e1nya, bar\u00e1tja kereste fel, akiknek lelki atyja, gy\u00f3ntat\u00f3ja volt. Egyetemi tan\u00e1ri m\u0171k\u00f6d\u00e9si enged\u00e9ly\u00e9t is visszavont\u00e1k. \u00c9rdekl\u0151d\u00f6tt a csillag\u00e1szat \u00e9s a l\u00e9lektan ir\u00e1nt is. Meg\u00e9lhet\u00e9s\u00e9t m\u0171szaki rajzok k\u00e9sz\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9vel biztos\u00edtotta.<\/p>\n<p>Gyakran l\u00e1togatott a nagyvenyimi pl\u00e9b\u00e1ni\u00e1ra, ahol kor\u00e1bbi rendt\u00e1rsa, Dolm\u00e1ny Vendel volt a pl\u00e9b\u00e1nos. 1962. m\u00e1rcius 25-\u00e9t (Gy\u00fcm\u00f6lcsolt\u00f3 Boldogasszony \u00fcnnepe) is itt szerette volna meg\u00fcnnepelni, de erre m\u00e1r nem ker\u00fclhetett sor: rosszul lett, \u00e9s m\u00e1rcius 26-\u00e1n, Budapesten, a Sz\u00e9her \u00fati k\u00f3rh\u00e1zban meghalt.
