Gyermekkor\u00e1ban a b\u00e1csbokodi Berger dinasztia tagjak\u00e9nt nagy hat\u00e1ssal volt r\u00e1 a csal\u00e1dot meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 zenei l\u00e9gk\u00f6r. Nagyapja, Berger \u00c1d\u00e1m helyi muzsikus volt \u00e9s maga is szerzett zen\u00e9ket. Az \u00e1ltala alap\u00edtott csal\u00e1di zenekar pr\u00f3b\u00e1in a k\u00e9s\u0151bbi nagy h\u00edr\u0171 klarin\u00e9tm\u0171v\u00e9sz is rendszeresen r\u00e9szt vett, majd tagja lett \u00e9s kompon\u00e1lni is kezdett.<\/p>\n<p>A klarin\u00e9t lett ugyan a f\u0151 hangszere, de sz\u00e1mos m\u00e1s hangszeren is megtanult j\u00e1tszani. A II. vil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00fa ut\u00e1n a Liszt Ferenc Zenem\u0171v\u00e9szeti F\u0151iskol\u00e1n kiv\u00e1l\u00f3 \u00e9s vil\u00e1gh\u00edr\u0171 zen\u00e9szekt\u0151l tanult. Klarin\u00e9t tan\u00e1ra V\u00e1czi K\u00e1roly, az \u00c1llami Operah\u00e1z sz\u00f3l\u00f3klarin\u00e9tosa volt. Magyar n\u00e9pzene \u00f3r\u00e1kra Kod\u00e1ly Zolt\u00e1nhoz j\u00e1rt, a kamarazen\u00e9sz tan\u00e1ra pedig Weiner Le\u00f3 volt.<\/p>\n<p>Meizl Ferenc tagja volt a Budapesti M\u00c1V Szimfonikusoknak, sz\u00f3l\u00f3klarin\u00e9tosk\u00e9nt a Magyar \u00c1llami Operah\u00e1znak \u00e9s a Budapesti F\u00fav\u00f3s\u00f6t\u00f6snek. M\u0171v\u00e9szet\u00e9t t\u00f6bb kit\u00fcntet\u00e9ssel is elismert\u00e9k, t\u00f6bbek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt Bart\u00f3k B\u00e9la-P\u00e1sztory Ditta-d\u00edjjal, Liszt Ferenc-d\u00edjjal, a Magyar K\u00f6zt\u00e1rsas\u00e1g \u00c9rdemes M\u0171v\u00e9sze d\u00edjjal \u00e9s a Magyar K\u00f6zt\u00e1rsas\u00e1gi \u00c9rdemrend tisztikeresztj\u00e9vel.<\/p>\n<p>Sz\u00fcl\u0151faluja 1999-ben adom\u00e1nyozta neki a B\u00e1csbokod Nagyk\u00f6zs\u00e9g D\u00edszpolg\u00e1ra c\u00edmet. Az ezzel j\u00e1r\u00f3 p\u00e9nzd\u00edjb\u00f3l egy alap\u00edtv\u00e1nyt hozott l\u00e9tre, ami a telep\u00fcl\u00e9s k\u00f6zm\u0171vel\u0151d\u00e9s\u00e9t hivatott t\u00e1mogatni.<\/p>\n<p>Virtu\u00f3z klarin\u00e9tm\u0171v\u00e9sznek tartott\u00e1k, aki sz\u00edvesen adta tov\u00e1bb tud\u00e1s\u00e1t di\u00e1kjainak \u00e9s osztotta meg azt zen\u00e9szkoll\u00e9g\u00e1ival.
